I really like the form that your design has taken. It is very dynamic. The fact that it transforms from one single flat circular disc is interesting and works well because it is easy to understand. The photo where all the earrings are hanging on the rack is a good representation of how the design is a decorative way of complimenting the jewellery. Having not interacted with the design I have some concerns about the strength of the rack when it is full of heavy jewellery. However I did notice the fact that there are no slotting joins; the standing design is all one seamless piece. This is good because it would be far more sturdier than if it had slots and cuts. This would also contribute to an easy method of assembly and hassle free manufacture.
From observing the form I can tell that you have contributed time and thought into developing the design. I would like to compliment the juxtaposition of circular shapes with contrasting axis planes. This gives the design depth and an intricacy that is supported by contrast to its magnificent simplicity.
I believe that this would be a very rewarding gift for a (female) receiver both during assembly and post-assembly as a useful product with attention to aesthetics.
Congradulations.

Hey Lisa,

I think an interactive flat pack jewellery design is a great idea for women in the market place. The use of revolving organic shapes creating dynamic levels both visually and to hang jewellery is great. More so, that these geometric shapes also transform into a stable stand.

The practical function acting as an earring stand is wise, as it can hold a lot more jewellery, that can also add to its interesting design.

It would have been nice to see abit more colour to accentuate the geometric form, especially as a gift for women to treasure in their rooms, instead of the raw material. However, this may have been intended to not take away from a women's elaborate colourful jewellery.

I think this is a great idea, especially as you have created an easy step to step interaction with the user to create the design.

Well Done
